2010 February13th

Rev. Berwyn from Throssel Hole Buddhist Abbey will be leading a retreat on Sat 13th February.

The main focus of the retreat will be Dogen Zenji's teaching, and there will be a talk on a short section of the Shobogenzo (the Chapter 'Inmo'). There is no requirement to read this beforehand, but contact one of the group if you would like to.
There will be periods of meditation and opportunities to share the Dharma in informal teas.
Newcomers are welcome to come along and will be given meditation instruction.

There is no charge for attending a retreat, but  we do invite donations to cover costs, and to support the visiting monk.   Please bring a vegetarian contribution to a shared lunch.

Please call one of the numbers on the Contact Us page for details of how to get to the venue (near Holmfirth).

We regularly hold day retreats, usually on a Saturday. These are often led by Rev. Berwyn from Throssel Hole Buddhist Abbey, or another monk of the Order of Buddhist Contemplatives. Details of these will be posted as they are arranged. The retreats are held locally near Holmfirth.
